Last month we let you know about Redemption of the Heart, a film crowdfunding on Kickstarter for a full theatrical release. Last week, the deadline hit and they were successfully able to raise $11,302 (more than their $10,000 goal)! This means that Redemption of the Heart will now be able to release in theaters, reaching an even broader audience along the way. Isaac Meeks, the man behind the film and the Kickstarter campaign had this to say at the end:
"Backers we made it! We reached our goal! Special thanks to Carol Smulllens, Lisa Darling Daniel, Rachel Torres Lorraine McBurnie and Terry Sellers for helping us get to our goal!
You guys have done your part now its are turn. We plan to take this 10 thousand dollars and take our film to as many movie Theaters as possible. If we make money we will take that money and re invest it in to new Theaters to try to expand the reach of our film. It will be a challenge to get our small low budget in to certain theaters so keep us in your prayers! Thanks again for all your support! We will continue to keep you posted on a regular basis of our progress."
You can find out more about this film on their Kickstarter page or on their website at redemptionoftheheartthemovie.com. Congratulations to Isaac Meeks and Sandon Yahn on their success! Be sure to stay tuned as we bring you the latest on this film as they attempt to reach as many theaters as possible!
